At Veritas Hearing UK, we strive for excellence in delivering advanced hearing solutions and comprehensive audiological care. Our team consists of highly experienced audiologists who work closely with our apprentices to enhance the well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

You will be working closely with one of our experienced audiologists, carrying out fittings and customer rehabilitation of hearing aids. Additionally, you will be responsible for follow-up appointments, service calls, and aftercare. Your role will also involve referring customers to your mentor audiologist who are ready to upgrade their existing hearing aids.

Training and Qualifications

This apprenticeship consists of on-the-job and classroom-based training in conjunction with De Montfort University in Leicester. Upon completion, you will achieve a Level 5 award in hearing aid dispensing, allowing you to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and work under the protected title of 'Hearing Aid Dispenser.'

Requirements

  • A willingness to learn and progress in the field of hearing healthcare
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both clinic and remote settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A driving license is required due to the domiciliary nature of the role
  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent is a minimum requirement for the apprenticeship
