Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the guidance of the Network Manager, provide high-quality ICT support to ensure the school establishes and maintains excellent learning facilities.
  • Connect and check hardware for normal operation, set up desktop environments, and install software applications as required.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks for user accounts, use utilities to change information on the intranet, and provide technical expertise to assigned customer networks.
  • Use our ticket-based system to manage and resolve problems, identify areas of growth within the school, and escalate this to the account manager.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to clients and commercial information to account managers.
  • Complete regular checks on client systems.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a helpdesk or support environment, with a willingness to work in teams to resolve common problems.
  • Microsoft Server Skills are desirable, as is experience in the education sector.
  • Professional and polished communication skills, a clean and valid DBS disclosure, and a keen desire to learn and expand on existing knowledge and skills.
