Job Title: Youth Mental Health Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Mental Health Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with trained professionals to support the social skills, emotional wellbeing, and mental health of students within our specialist school.

About the Role:
  • Support the social skills, emotional wellbeing, and mental health of students within our specialist school.
  • Work closely with trained professionals, including Psychologists and Therapists, to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Shadow the work of experienced professionals to gain valuable insights and skills.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment that prioritizes the needs of our students.
About the School:

Our specialist school provides an alternative education for children who have social & emotional difficulties, such as anxiety and school refusal due to developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences, as well as specific learning difficulties like dyslexia and dyscalculia.

We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that allows our students to thrive and reach their full potential.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
