Aquarius, a subsidiary of Humankind, is seeking a skilled Practitioner to join our NGAGE Young People's Service in Northampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice, assessments, and interventions to young people aged 10-18, promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being.
  • Manage a caseload and work with clients in various service delivery settings, ensuring comprehensive support.
  • Liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies, as well as health professionals, to provide a seamless service.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and external agencies to maximize outcomes and promote positive change.

Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).
  • Alternatively, consider candidates with experience in the substance misuse field, committed to completing NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
  • Good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health-related issues.
  • Ability to work professionally with service users, families, and external agencies.
  • Flexible approach and commitment to the principles of confidentiality.
  • Excellent record-keeping and Microsoft Office skills.
