Overview: Teaching Personnel is seeking committed individuals to assist children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC) within our partner secondary educational institutions in Falmouth, Cornwall. We welcome applicants with relevant experience from both educational and non-educational backgrounds.
Position Details:
- Role: ASC Teaching Assistant
- Type: Full-time
- Pay: Starting at £83.85 per day, with potential for increases based on experience
- Duration: Employment for the entire academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized support to students with ASC in both mainstream classroom settings and small group activities.
- Work collaboratively with designated students to address their educational and developmental requirements.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with ASC or related conditions.
- Demonstrated patience, understanding, and a constructive attitude.
- Ability to function effectively in both individual and group environments.
