We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As an 'Outstanding' CQC-rated care provider, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment where our clients can thrive.

About the Role:

  • Support our client, a female with learning disabilities, in her own property, providing 24/7 care and assistance.
  • Work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure our client receives high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our client, promoting independence and empowering her to make informed decisions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in learning disabilities care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience in learning disabilities care.
  • Passion, resilience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.
  • Relevant training in restraint and physical intervention.
