Billing Administrator Job Description

Marlowe Fire & Security is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Salford Quays. As a key member of our invoicing team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily database of open Engineering jobs
  • Generate and process invoices daily
  • Chase internal departments for required information to enable invoicing
  • Submit customer reports
  • Upload invoices to customer portals
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries and raise credit notes
  • Maintain accurate invoicing database
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required to support the business
  • Retrieve and process phone and email messages within SLA
  • Manage customer queries and complaints to resolution
  • Process orders to ensure work is completed and invoices are created
  • Proactively manage customer workload
  • Close jobs for invoicing in accordance with customer requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure effective customer response and work completion within SLA
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to workload

  • Analytical approach
  • High degree of professionalism and resilience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other relevant packages
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with a structured approach
  • Experience working on customer portals
