Stores Operative

Salary: £26,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time - Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL). As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of HMP Feltham.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks
- Operate forklift trucks and other equipment as required
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the efficient delivery of facilities maintenance services
- Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Fork Lift Truck Certificate
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Full driving license (preferably with D1)
- HGV Licence
- Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
