We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL). As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of HMP Feltham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock control and minimising waste.
  • Receive, store, and dispatch goods and materials, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Maintenance Team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure environment by adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any incidents or near misses.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Fork Lift Truck Certificate
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  • Full driving license (preferably with D1)
  • HGV Licence
  • Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
