About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Operations Manager to join our team at Aldi UK. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in the management of the store, including the supervision of staff and the maintenance of high standards of customer service.
  • Assist with the management of stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Contribute to the development of the store's sales and customer service strategies, and assist in the implementation of these plans.
  • Provide support to the Store Manager in the management of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the store's facilities and equipment, including the maintenance of high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Experience in a retail or store management environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and other software applications.
