Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Ambulance Dispatcher. As a key member of our 999 control room team, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and management of Trust vehicles to emergency and non-emergency calls across the Trust area.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deploy and manage Trust vehicles to emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Provide effective communication and coordination with emergency services and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the 999 control room team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • 4 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English (or equivalent)
  • Good keyboard skills and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and make sound decisions
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and bank holidays
