We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our County Local Mental Health Teams (LMHTs) in Nottinghamshire. Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of patients living in the community, providing initial assessments, one-to-one interventions, and comprehensive need/risk assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing specialist skills and knowledge to maintain professional competence and fitness to practice as a nurse.
- Establish and maintain robust communication networks with clients, carers, team members, and other healthcare and social care workers within urgent care and the community.
- Use interpersonal skills to diffuse potentially emotive situations while undertaking assessments and pathway planning within acute settings.
- Professional Qualification (Mental Health) to degree level or equivalent.
- Maintains current registration with the NMC.
- Further specialist knowledge/post-registration experience in specific service areas or other formal training.
As a Mental Health Specialist with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary health team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have access to regular clinical, managerial, and peer supervision, as well as opportunities for professional development and training.
