Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Retail team in Durham as a Sales Assistant. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, working closely with customers to understand their needs, and advising them on high-value purchases. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, updating displays, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, listening to customers' needs and guiding them to find the perfect fit for their sleep needs.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Update displays and merchandise to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store by meeting sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • A positive and engaging personality, with a natural ability to bond with customers.
  • Determination and motivation to work towards sales targets and KPIs.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges.
  • Flexibility to work 30 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
