About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading on a wide range of new build nuclear projects, including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs, and future fusion technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the design and analysis of new building structures, taking responsibility for project ownership.
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Collaborate with junior team members to grow and develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and influence project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Relevant level of professional experience in civil-structural design and analysis, research and development, project engineering, or design consultancy.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments, such as nuclear, power, or rail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write bids and tenders to win work.
  • Commitment to bidding projects for future work opportunities.
