We are seeking an experienced and innovative senior civil or structural engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a part-time opportunity, this role offers the perfect balance of work and personal life.

As a senior civil or structural engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the UK's biggest infrastructure projects, including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs, and future fusion technologies. You will be responsible for leading on a wide range of new build nuclear projects, coordinating across multidisciplinary projects, and taking responsibility for project ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Relevant level of professional experience in civil-structural design and analysis, research and development, project engineering, or design consultancy.
  • Co-ordination across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Leading, undertaking, and reviewing design of new building structures, and taking responsibility for project ownership.
  • Working in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power, or rail.
  • Experienced in writing bids and tenders to win work.
