About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative senior civil or structural engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a part-time opportunity, this role offers the perfect balance of work and personal life.

As a senior civil or structural engineer, you will have a deep understanding of highly regulated environments, such as nuclear, power, or rail. You will be responsible for leading on a wide range of new build nuclear projects, including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs, and future fusion technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relevant level of professional experience in civil-structural design and analysis, research and development, project engineering, or design consultancy.
  • Co-ordination across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Leading, undertaking, and reviewing design of new building structures, and taking responsibility for project ownership.
  • Working in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power, or rail.
  • Experienced in writing bids and tenders to win work.

You will be able to work collaboratively from our offices and across our client sites to understand clients' needs and deliver to time, cost, and quality.
