Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Support Manager (Peripatetic) to join our dedicated care team at Greensleeves Care. The successful candidate will provide practical and direct support to our care homes, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supporting care homes in the absence of the manager
  2. Providing regional support and maintaining contact with care homes across two divisions
  3. Conducting regular visits to care homes as directed by Divisional Directors
  4. Ensuring a stimulating and caring environment is maintained
  5. Overseeing the effective delivery of the medicine administration process in line with our Management of Medicines Policy
  6. Ensuring staff members attend mandatory and required training courses to maintain skills, knowledge, and competency levels
  7. Supporting the Home Manager to plan and facilitate regular staff meetings and staff supervision
  8. Providing support and assistance to staff members and delegating duties as appropriate

Requirements

  1. RN 1 or 2 with current NMC PIN
  2. NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent
  3. Previous experience of working with a large multi-site care provider in a high-level management capacity
  4. Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards
  5. Working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people
