Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Home Support Manager to join our dedicated care team at Greensleeves Care. As a Peripatetic Care Manager, you will provide practical and direct support to our home managers and homes, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support home managers in their absence, ensuring continuity of care and services.
  • Provide regional support and maintain contact with care homes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct routine visits to care homes, as directed by Divisional Directors, to monitor and improve care services.
  • Ensure a stimulating and caring environment is maintained, promoting the well-being of residents.
  • Oversee the effective delivery of medicine administration processes, in line with Greensleeves Care's Management of Medicines Policy.
  • Ensure staff members receive necessary training and development opportunities, maintaining their skills and knowledge.
  • Support home managers in planning and facilitating staff meetings, ensuring effective communication and staff engagement.
  • Provide support and assistance to staff members, delegating duties as necessary to ensure efficient implementation.

Requirements:

  • RN 1 or 2 with current NMC PIN.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with a large multi-site care provider in a high-level management capacity.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Working knowledge of legislation and regulatory frameworks underpinning care practice for older people.
