Job Title: Peripatetic Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Support Manager to join our dedicated care team at Greensleeves Care. As a Peripatetic Care Manager, you will provide practical and direct support to our home managers and homes, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting home managers in their absence
  • Supporting two divisions and maintaining regional contact for each care home
  • Conducting routine head office visits across care homes as directed by divisional directors
  • Ensuring a stimulated and caring environment is maintained
  • Overseeing and ensuring the effective delivery of the medicine administration process in line with Greensleeves Care Management of Medicines Policy
  • Ensuring attendance to mandatory and required training courses, including staff members within a home, is met to maintain skills, knowledge, and competency levels
  • Supporting the home manager to plan and facilitate regular staff meetings, establishing an effective communication system, and ensuring staff members are kept up to date with necessary information
  • Providing support and assistance to staff members and ensuring areas of responsibility are maintained, delegating duties to staff as appropriate
Requirements:
  • RN 1 or 2 with current NMC PIN
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with a large multi-site care provider in a high-level manager capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards
  • Working knowledge of legislation and the regulatory framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people
