Job Description

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation, is currently seeking a Business Partner to deliver the Business Partner function for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Service Reform and Transformation: Provide input to Corporate Service Reform and Transformation initiatives, including hardware refresh and Mobile Working.
  • Strategic Input and Project Management: Offer strategic input and project management for all innovation and technology initiatives, from proposal submission to project completion.
  • Data Initiatives: Provide strategic input and project management for all Data initiatives, including innovation, integration, analytics, 3D, and Property.
  • Collaboration and Technical Efficiency: Collaborate with SIIT and ICT providers to determine suitable options for ICT innovation projects and identify opportunities to deliver technical efficiencies.
  • Strategic Business Cases and Project Management: Produce Strategic Business Cases and manage all requests to SIIT for technical projects, including system upgrades, patching, development requests, UAT supervision, monitoring project spend, and controlling project changes.
  • Performance Monitoring and Issue Resolution: Monitor performance of ICT operational service delivery and co-ordinate issue resolution in collaboration with SIIT.
  • CORPORATE ICT and Data Governance: Represent the organisation on matters of Corporate ICT and data governance, including information security, risk management, and audit. Provide advice to staff on applicable procedures, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Data Sharing Agreements.
  • Executive ICT Reports and Training: Provide executive ICT reports as required and manage ICT training plans for the organisation's staff, mapped to corporate initiatives.
  • Compliance and Legislative Requirements: Oversee technical procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and organisational policies.
Requirements:
  • Technical Business Management and Service Delivery Experience: Experience of technical business management and service delivery.
  • Design and Implementation: Ability to design and implement future development of services.
  • Collaboration and Change Management: Encouraging Services to work effectively together and to find new ways of delivering and developing services, and taking the lead in implementation of change.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Demonstrates commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
  • Project Management: Project Management experience.
