We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Portering and Transport Helpdesk Operator. As a key member of our operational support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient and effective provision of portering services to staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to internal and external calls for portering and transport services, prioritizing tasks and allocating to porters/drivers within service level agreement targets.
- Demonstrate a polite, courteous, and helpful manner when interacting with customers.
- Contribute to the on-going development and delivery of the portering and transport services.
- Assist in the provision of efficient and effective portering and transport services to staff, patients, and visitors.
- Report to and support the portering and security supervisors in the daily coordination of service demand.
- Utilize keyboard skills to input data onto computer systems.
- Work a rotary shift pattern covering 08:00 hours to 20:00 hours, 7 days per week.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Basic IT skills.
- Experience working with the general public.
- Experience operating IT software systems.
- Experience working in a busy environment.
- Experience in customer relations type environments.
- UK driving license.
