Job Summary

City Hospitals Independent Commercial Enterprises Ltd (CHoICE) is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Portering and Transport Helpdesk Operator. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond to internal and external calls for portering and transport services, prioritizing tasks and allocating to porters/drivers within service level agreement targets.
  • Demonstrate a polite, courteous, and helpful manner when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Contribute to the on-going development and delivery of the portering and transport services, ensuring efficient and effective provision of services.
  • Assist in the provision of portering and transport services to staff, patients, and visitors, reporting to and supporting the portering and security supervisors in the daily coordination of service demand.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Basic IT skills, including experience with helpdesk software systems.
  • Experience of working in a busy environment, with a flexible approach to tasks and hours of work, including weekends, shift patterns, and public holidays.
  • UK driving license.
