About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Transport Clerk to join our team at our Haydock Distribution Centre. As a key member of our Transport Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery services.
Main Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for our drivers, you will be responsible for briefing and debriefing them, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and returned. You will also be responsible for liaising with drivers and customer services to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a Transport Department, preferably with knowledge of the Locator system. You will also need to have a solid understanding of drivers' hours and driving legislation, as well as strong communication skills. A Class 2 Licence with at least 2 years' experience driving a Class 2 vehicle is also essential.
