Lead Psychologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Psychologist to join our team in Oldham. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychology services to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with severe eating disorders and complex mental health difficulties.
  2. Provide evidence-based psychological interventions and contribute to multidisciplinary risk management, care planning, and decision-making.
  3. Monitor client progress through regular reviews and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  4. Provide high-quality clinical supervision to junior staff members.
  5. Support staff development through training, consultation, and reflective practice sessions.
  6. Contribute to service developments within the therapies team and wider service.
  7. Collaborate with the Regional Therapies Lead/Consultant Clinical Psychologist to ensure high standards of care.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Chartered Psychologist status and relevant post-graduate qualifications.
  2. Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting.
  3. Previous experience of conducting research and project work.
