About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Psychologist to join our team at All Saints Hospital, a specialist mental health service for men who are deaf or have complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the psychology department in providing a range of therapeutic approaches to service users, including CBT, EMDR, and DBT.
  • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to junior psychologists and assistants, including mentoring and training.
  • Support the clinical teams in creating reports with service users to increase engagement through interventions and developing new initiatives.
  • Participate in Clinical Leads and Hospital Governance Meetings to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Support the provision of psychology services in a specified area, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society.
  • Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualification in applied psychology.
  • Competence in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users.
  • Ability to identify and proactively resolve problems and challenges within the service.
  • Ability to supervise junior members of the team.
