About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Psychologist to join our team at All Saints Hospital, a specialist mental health service for people who are deaf or have complex communication needs.

As a Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary team, working with individuals who have complex needs and require specialist mental health support.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing psychological interventions, conducting assessments and risk assessments, and providing supervision and guidance to junior members of the team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement psychological interventions for individuals with complex needs
  • Conduct assessments and risk assessments
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior members of the team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Requirements
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society
  • Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualification in applied psychology
  • Competence in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users
  • Ability to identify and proactively resolve problems and challenges within the service
  • Ability to supervise junior members of the team
