Job Opportunity: Third in Charge at a Busy Nursery

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team as Third in Charge at our large and vibrant nursery in Walton on Thames. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, working closely with our management team to ensure the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of experienced childcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years/Childcare
  • At least 2 years' experience of working in a Day Nursery
  • At least 1 year's experience of leading and supporting teams
  • Ability to inspire, energise and support others
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with children and helping others learn
  • Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
  • Firm knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements
