Job Title: Office Based Support Technician Print Equipment

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Taylor Higson. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing remote technical assistance to end users of a variety of machinery, including printing presses and finishing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical troubleshooting assistance to clients via telephone and online
  • Working with the service team to plan and schedule machinery installs, commissioning of new machinery or organising on site equipment repairs
  • Ordering parts and organising delivery of these
  • Documenting all aspects of every process using the company's client management systems
  • Occasional travel to site to assist in technical troubleshooting
Requirements:
  • Technically competent with troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues
  • Can read and understand electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • Computer literate (confident user of Office, Outlook, Excel and CRM systems)
  • Excellent client management / customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Electrically or mechanically qualified, OR, has hands on experience equivalent within a similar role
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel on occasion to client sites to assist with troubleshooting
