The Role of a Nurse

As a Nurse at Careline Lifestyles, you will provide a high standard of direct nursing and holistic care to service users, based on the assessment of care needs. This will involve developing therapeutic relationships with service users to assess care needs, plan and implement, and review care plans and nursing interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medication reviews, ensuring all documentation is up to date and information is acted upon.
  • Order medications in appropriate time scales to ensure the service is not short of the necessary medication.
  • Administer medication and ensure all documentation is accurate for each service user.
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms and clinical areas.
  • Play an active role in multidisciplinary team meetings and work in collaboration with a wide-ranging team of professionals.
  • Work within the NMC codes of conduct and Scope of Practice and within the home's policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified and registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. You must also hold a valid NMC registration.

Working Hours

Shifts are 12 hours long, working nights from 8pm to 8am. This is a full-time position.
