Job Title: Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Linsco Ltd. As an Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bids
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes of practice
  • Prepare and submit reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and risk assessments
Requirements:
  • Proven commercial experience in a similar level role
  • A relevant qualification or good experience of quantity surveying
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties
  • Good awareness of codes of practice that impact on commercial matters
  • Knowledge of Construction Design Management Regulations
  • Commercially astute
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry
