Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Linsco Ltd. in Hessle, East Yorkshire. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our new build and social housing projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working within the new build or social housing sector and will be passionate about working with colleagues across different disciplines. You will be responsible for conducting valuations, engaging with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes of practice.

Requirements
  • Proven commercial experience in a similar level role
  • A relevant qualification or good experience of quantity surveying
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with client, stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties
  • Good awareness of codes of practice that impact on commercial matters e.g Building Regulations, NHBC requirements, HSE etc
  • Knowledge of Construction Design Management Regulations
  • Commercially astute
  • Knowledge of construction and design management regulations
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry
