About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Gleeson Development Ltd. As a key member of our Regional Commercial team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Group Business plan, Commercial objectives, budgets, and future growth requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying, with excellent financial and commercial awareness. You will be responsible for managing build and infrastructure costs, cash flows, cost movements, and variations, as well as working closely with Housing Associations, third-party providers, and sub-contractors to ensure all contractual terms are met.

You will also be responsible for procuring all subcontract trades, providing detailed cost/budget analysis, and actively managing communications with operational interfaces and internal and external stakeholders to achieve the Regional business plan.

We are looking for a commercially astute individual with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, who is able to positively influence others to ensure all commercial budgets, policies, and standards are respected and managed.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification or good experience of Quantity Surveying, proficiency in COINS and MS Excel packages, and a good understanding of the financial implications of the methods and sequences of build.
