- Assist the Head of Health and Safety in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
- Conduct investigations into accidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Monitor and drive the implementation of corrective and preventative actions arising from health and safety activities, including accident investigations, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Prepare health and safety reports to ensure stakeholders have timely and relevant information.
- Ensure contractors on site provide necessary documentation before work commences to ensure safe working practices.
- Maintain and update records of safety audits, plans, and reports.
- Manage accident and near miss data and maintain safety documentation.
- Collate and file safety-related documents.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and intermediate IT skills are essential.
- Able to work autonomously and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
