About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Nurse/Midwife to join our dynamic research team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating the day-to-day management of research studies, ensuring the smooth delivery of clinical trials, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of research studies, including the recruitment and retention of participants, data collection, and sample processing.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to champion research and ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Trust policies.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants in clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate research trials into clinical practice, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse or Midwife with a graduate-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in clinical research or clinical trials, with a strong understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
  • Computer literacy and presentation skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate work effectively.
  • Commitment to achieving objectives, with a strong focus on patient safety and advocacy.
