About the Role

Level Water is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Fundraising Director to lead the way in achieving significant income growth and playing a critical role in helping to quadruple their impact over the next few years.

This exciting appointment will shape and deliver Level Water's fundraising strategy, growing income from a range of sources including community and events, individual giving, corporate, trusts and foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve step-change within the fundraising team across income streams.
  • Build strategic funding partnerships across multiple income streams, identifying new opportunities and building creative appeals and cases for support.
  • Lead a team of fundraisers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of fundraising targets.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy and goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective financial management and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community groups.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of achieving fundraising success, with a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership and management skills, able to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Natural ability to network and build new relationships, with a strong understanding of the charity sector and its key players.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
