Safeguarding Adult Social Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Work Assistant/Newly Qualified Social Worker to join our team at Social Personnel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking duty activities and proportionate assessments, safeguarding initial contacts and investigations, and providing support and guidance to individuals, carers, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with individuals, carers, and families to assess and intervene preventatively using a strength-based approach.
- Develop person-led Support Plans to meet the needs of individuals, promoting choice, control, and independence.
- Identify and discuss safeguarding concerns with line managers, and undertake section 42 enquiries as necessary.
- Deliver high-quality and legally compliant Adult Social Care support in a timely manner to agreed standards.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals. A strong understanding of adult safeguarding principles and practices is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
