Role Responsibilities:
The Senior Presales Principal Consultant will collaborate closely with the Pursuit Lead to cultivate and manage client relationships, ensuring that their strategic and innovative needs are met. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary liaison with technical teams and suppliers to guarantee effective support and adherence to design principles.
- Assisting in the development and execution of Vodafone's Defence Strategy, identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across various levels, both internally and externally.
- Owning the development and documentation of solution strategies for identified opportunities.
- Providing technology leadership and ownership for account and bid teams engaged in pursuit activities.
- Ensuring compliance with Vodafone standards while managing any necessary deviations.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- In-depth knowledge of the UK Ministry of Defence and the Defence industry.
- Proven experience in leading successful outcomes for Defence opportunities and bids.
- Strong leadership capabilities in technology, solutions, and innovation.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the Defence sector.
- Expertise in crafting solution visions and strategies to meet complex needs in secure environments.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and architectures.
- Exceptional communication and thought leadership skills to influence diverse audiences.
This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
