About the Role

Practice Plus Group is seeking a dedicated Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our team at HMP Five Wells, a Category C resettlement prison in Northamptonshire.

As part of the healthcare team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals who wish to make positive changes in their behavior and promote health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a new prison environment with modern facilities and strong community connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals seeking recovery from substance misuse.
  • Develop and implement individualized recovery plans.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Due to the nature of this role, successful applicants will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
