Join Our Team as a Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Financial Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Accountant to drive improvements in margin, cash, and working capital.
  • Manage and develop an Assistant Management Accountant and Accounts Assistant.
  • Ensure all month-end tasks are completed on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Reconcile all deferred and accrued balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare all Balance Sheet Reconciliations monthly.
  • Assist with the implementation of process or system improvements.
  • Support the budget process and ensure an accurate and high-quality budget is produced within agreed timelines.

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or proven track record through demonstrable experience.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a management accounting team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to prepare full-cycle management accounts and adhere to month-end processes with precision and proficiency.
  • Detailed knowledge of FRS101 and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Advanced user of Excel.
  • Excellent management and communication skills.
  • Experience in project accounting.
  • Experience of IFS (ERP system).
