Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our small, friendly team. You will be responsible for:

  • Performing various office and supporter database tasks, as well as processing donations from supporters.
  • Carrying out daily core finance tasks, including accounting for daily receipts, stewardship, and charity card donations.
  • Conducting daily account reconciliations for bank accounts and managing incoming enquiries from supporters and potential supporters.

You will need to have a passion for Interserve GBI's vision and mission, as well as at least 2 years of experience in a finance or administration role. Essential skills include experience with accounting systems or databases, IT skills, effective administration skills, and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively. You should also possess a good standard of numeracy and accuracy with detailed spreadsheets. You should be able to work independently and as part of the Finance Team.

In return, our National Office offers a welcoming, prayerful community, with a commitment to supporting staff wellbeing and flexible working arrangements.

The role can be home or office based, with a minimum once a week attendance at the National Office. Additional days on site will be required during the induction phase.
