Store Maintenance Specialist

Join City Facilities Management as a Maintenance Assistant, where our goal is to ensure that our partner stores are safe, compliant, and well-maintained at all times.
Hourly Rate:
£12.75
Role Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be tasked with performing essential maintenance and support activities across multiple locations. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as fire alarm tests and water temperature checks.
2. Executing a weekly defrost program for store equipment.
3. Carrying out minor repairs to building fabric and performing basic decorating tasks.
4. Addressing minor plumbing and joinery repairs as needed.
5. Completing various ad-hoc tasks while adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals who possess a diverse skill set in practical trades, demonstrating the ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have:
- A proactive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good organizational skills to manage and prioritize workload.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with tablets and common software applications.
- A valid UK driver's license for roles covering multiple sites.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving heavy items.
