About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Management Team at City Facilities Management. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out minor general and fabric maintenance tasks, as well as planned and reactive maintenance across multiple stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled, including fire alarm call point tests, water temperature checks, and shower spray head clean and chlorination.
  • Perform minor building fabric repairs, including decorating tasks and plumbing repairs.
  • Conduct minor joinery tasks and repairs.
  • Complete minor general ad-hoc tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed within our Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Requirements
  • A broad range of practical skills and experience in a trade, including the ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Positive and proactive approach, with good customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation and the ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • IT skills, including the ability to use a tablet and Microsoft Office software.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A full UK driver's license for roles covering multiple stores.
  • Physical fitness, including the ability to move and lift heavy items and use ladders.
