Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities Management Team at City FM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out minor general and fabric maintenance tasks, as well as planned and reactive maintenance across multiple stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled, including fire alarm call point tests, water temperature checks, and shower spray head clean and chlorination.
- Perform minor building fabric repairs, decorating tasks, plumbing tasks, and joinery tasks.
- Complete minor general ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operation of the team.
- A broad range of practical skills and experience in a trade, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Positive and proactive approach, with good customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation and the ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- IT skills, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email software.
- Full UK driver's license for roles covering 3+ stores.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to move and lift heavy items and use ladders.
