Job Description
The Pricing Manager will play a crucial role in delivering significant improvements to our pricing models, capability, and analysis. You'll lead a team of Analysts, empowering them to be pioneers in the pricing space and drive impact. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, you'll use technical skills and experience to devise and coordinate our use of modelling and analytical techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ground-breaking improvements to our pricing algorithms.
- Use data science techniques to deliver uplift in model outcomes.
- Own major modelling projects from start to finish.
- Lead the identification of challenges and opportunities by interpreting data and presenting actions.
- Manage and mentor a team of Analysts, empowering them to grow and develop.
- Ensure all models implemented are in line with regulatory and fair value measures.
Requirements
- Passion for data analysis and drawing meaningful insights.
- Experience in a Pricing Manager role with extensive knowledge of UK Motor or Home insurance products/markets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor a team.
- Significant experience in delivering statistical models and techniques.
- Strong governance awareness and experience with insurance pricing software.
- Good experience with statistical software and programming languages.
