**Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in site management, with experience in high-pressure gas steel pipeline projects.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that all aspects of gas steel pipeline installation are completed safely and efficiently.
- Manage all site activities, including deep excavations, welding, and testing, to ensure that they are completed in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Act as the Temporary Works Supervisor, ensuring that all temporary works are installed and maintained safely and in compliance with relevant standards.
- Ensure that all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations by conducting regular safety briefings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with the site team, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with clients, including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure that their requirements are met and that they are kept informed of project progress.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Oversee the testing of pipelines to ensure that they meet the required standards, and all procedures are followed correctly and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material usage, and any changes to the project scope.
**Requirements:
- Significant years of experience in site management roles within construction/engineering.
- Experience with high-pressure gas systems, steel welding, stopple, and pipeline testing are advantageous.
- Previous experience as a contractor or direct employee with Cadent is highly desirable.
- Relevant tickets/qualifications such as First Aid, Fire Marshal, Deep excavation & SMSTS are beneficial.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
