Job Title: Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our new residential project to success, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinating with on-site personnel and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  2. Manage and resolve day-to-day site issues, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  3. Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to coordinate material and plant requisitioning.
  4. Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to address cost-related matters and maintain the Variation Log.
  5. Lead and manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site.
  6. Support the Project Manager in delivering the project to the highest standards of quality, on time, and within budget.
  7. Develop and review weekly work programs, monitoring progress against the Master Construction Programme.
  8. Facilitate communication between the Design Team and Construction Team.
  9. Ensure effective communication between the Design Team and Sub-Contractors.
  10. Attend and chair weekly Management Team Meetings.
  11. Maintain site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  12. Implement and manage the Safety Management System.
  13. Develop and implement daily and weekly programs.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering degree/diploma or related discipline, or a minimum of 5 years of site management experience.
  2. Proven track record of delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or refurbishment projects.
  3. Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage financial and programmed planning aspects.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
  5. Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness.
