Assistant Category Manager

About the RoleAs an Assistant Category Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Category Team in the day-to-day management of our business. Your focus will be on providing expert support, developing product knowledge, and collaborating with external suppliers to drive efficient category management.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Category Team and external suppliers to ensure seamless category management, leveraging your product knowledge to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing product and market data to inform category decision-making.
- Support the Category Team in managing commercial agreements, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
- Collaborate with product teams to plan and implement promotional activities and pricing strategies.
- Monitor and track rebates and contributions for product groups, maintaining accurate records and submitting to Finance.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and team-oriented, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Excellent data inputting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
