Are you seeking a position that offers growth potential? We are in search of a Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at XPO. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient and secure dispatch of drivers during our operational hours.

Compensation and Benefits:

The role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 annually. Additionally, you will enjoy 25 days of annual leave (plus public holidays) with the option to purchase extra days. Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Contract Manager in ensuring compliance with all legal and safety regulations during your shift, stepping in during their absence.
  • Help implement the daily logistics plan for deliveries and collections, monitoring available resources and keeping clients informed.
  • Ensure adherence to operational processes and maintain a safe, efficient working environment.
  • Oversee safe operations throughout the shift.
  • Ensure all team members are trained and compliant with company protocols.
  • Coordinate timely dispatch of drivers to meet service level agreements.
  • Minimize damage during operations.
  • Contact breakdown services for vehicle or trailer issues.

Qualifications for Success at XPO:

  • Required: Experience in transport or logistics administration.
  • Required: Proficient in computer use, including email communication, KPI reporting, driver dispatching, and handover documentation.
  • Required: Demonstrated experience in transport operations with a solid understanding of compliance and driver regulations.
  • Required: Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Required: Strong customer service skills, both in-person and via phone/email.
