Are you seeking a position where you can grow and make a significant impact? We are currently in search of a Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at XPO. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and secure dispatch of drivers during our operational hours.

Compensation and Benefits:

We are prepared to offer a competitive salary of up to £30,000 annually. Additionally, you will enjoy 25 days of vacation (plus public holidays) with the option to purchase extra days. Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Contract Manager in ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements during your shift, stepping in during their absence.
  • Help implement the daily logistics plan for all shipments and collections, while keeping a close watch on available resources and updating customers accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to all operational processes and procedures, fostering a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Manage operations with a strong focus on safety.
  • Ensure all team members are adequately trained and consistently follow company protocols.
  • Guarantee timely dispatch of drivers to meet service level agreements.
  • Minimize damages throughout the operation.
  • Coordinate with breakdown services for vehicles or trailers as necessary.

Qualifications for Success at XPO:

  • Required: Previous experience in logistics or transport administration.
  • Required: Proficient in computer use, including emails, KPI reporting, driver dispatching, and handover documentation.
  • Required: Demonstrated experience in transport operations with a solid understanding of compliance and driver regulations.
  • Required: Experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Required: Strong customer service skills, both in-person and via phone/email.
