Position: Special Educational Needs Support Assistant (Mainstream Educational Institution)
Are you a skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant?

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to become a vital part of our client's team within a Secondary educational setting.

The primary responsibility of the Support Assistant is to facilitate the integration of students with special educational needs, enabling them to participate fully in classroom activities alongside their peers and achieve academic progress.

Key responsibilities will include implementing tailored programs and activities designed to meet the individual learning and social requirements of the students. The Support Assistant will work closely with class educators and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to execute the objectives outlined in each student's Personalized Learning Plan.

We are looking for candidates who possess a strong command of both spoken and written English, as effective communication with students and staff is essential. A friendly and approachable demeanor is also crucial.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with Autism and ADHD
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (mandatory)
